In addition, the ignorance of young children towards the traditional game of cublak-cublak suweng is also a driving factor for conducting this research. The design of this research is classroom action research which is carried out in the 2020/2021 academic year. Data analysis techniques were carried out using descriptive statistics to determine the children’s social emotional level before and after giving the action. The results of the study proved that the traditional game of cublak-cublak suweng was able to improve participants’ social-emotional abilities. This is evidenced by the pre-action conditions which show the social emotional development of students by 32%. This means that it is still under the passing grade indicator. The results of the action in cycle I showed an increase in social emotional development to 60%, with the criteria for developing as expected. The results of the cycle II showed an increase in social emotional development by 89%, with very good development criteria.
