The background of this research is the low achievement of students, especially in the field of science. This is because the concept of science learning is still abstract and learning media are less attractive. As a result, the cognitive aspects of students do not develop optimally. This study aims to improve science learning outcomes through experimental methods in the activity of mentioning colors and mixing colors in group B children at Amanah Insan Cita (AIC) Kindergarten, Ponorogo. This type of research used classroom action research using the spiral cycle method developed by Kemmis and MC Taggart. Data collection techniques in this study used observation and documentation. Data analysis technique was carried out through data reduction, data presentation and verification or conclusions. The result of the first cycle showed that the children didn’t have the ability to mention the types of colors and couldn’t show the result of mixing colors. While in the second cycle, the students’ science learning outcome increased in a good category, developing as expected with the percentage above 75%. It can be concluded from the research result that the experimental method in science learning through the activity of mentioning the types of colors and color mixing activities proved to be able to improve science learning outcome in group B students of Amanah Insan Cita (AIC) Ponorogo.
