NILAI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER DALAM 27 CERITA RAKYAT NUSANTARA KUMPULAN MB. RAHIMSYAH

Abstract

This study aimed at describing five values of character education in 27 ‘Cerita Rakyat Nusantara’ collected by MB. Rahimsyah which covered the values of religiousity, honesty, hard working, friendly communication, and responsibility. The method of this research was descriptive qualitative, designed as content analysis. The steps of analysis the data were re-reading, identifying, interpreting, and concluting the data. Based on the result of the study the value of the religious character education in the form of gratitude to the God, consistent in faith, and to get closer to Allah almighty. The value of honest character was in the form of telling the truth as the advice of the Lord. Honest words will be appreciated and to be honest was a harmony between words and facts. The value of hard work indicated that the success can not be achieved without effort. The values of friendly character covered the activity of discussion and communicative interaction. The value of responsibility character included the attitude to apologize and sportive.
