The research employs a qualitative approach using semiotic and hermeneutic analysis methods. The primary data source is the poem itself, supported by Javanese mystical literature, symbolic dictionaries, and previous studies. The findings reveal that symbols such as the orange moon, collapsed bridge, tirta (sacred water), and inner flute reflect spiritual crisis, existential search, and the lost connection between human beings and the Divine in the context of modern Javanese culture. The rejection of figures like Jaka Lodhang, Gatholoco, and Syekh Siti Jenar emphasizes that the spiritual experience portrayed is personal and contemplative rather than dogmatic. This study contributes to a deeper understanding of spiritual values in modern Javanese literature and serves as a reference for literary education and local cultural preservation.
2025-07-22T00:00:00+00:00 Copyright (c) 2025 Jurnal Bahasa dan Sastra https://jurnal.stkippgriponorogo.ac.id/index.php/JBS/article/view/670 Tindak Tutur dalam Ungkapan Pada Bak Truk di Jalan Raya Pacitan-Ponorogo: Kajian Pragmatik 2025-07-22T06:16:34+00:00 Dian Ardianto adian3767@gmail.com Kasnadi Kasnadi kkasnadi@gmail.com Siti Munifah sitimunifah2018@gmail.com
The purpose of this study is to determine the types and meanings of speech acts in expressions on truck beds passing along the Pacitan-Ponorogo Highway. This study aims to describe the form of tragic consciousness structure in Rintik Sedu's novel Pukul Setengah Lima and analyze how the psychological experiences of the main character represent the collective consciousness of the emotionally and socially alienated urban youth generation. The approach used is descriptive qualitative, applying Lucien Goldmann's genetic structuralism theory. Data was obtained from narrative quotations in the novel that describe childhood trauma, social alienation, failure in affective relationships, and shifts in the main character's identity. The analysis results show that the character Alina experiences the disintegration of family values, the loss of an emotional home, and chooses to engage in relationships without attachment as a form of self-defense. A tragic worldview is evident in the character's choice to "become someone else" as an escape from a painful identity. These findings suggest that the novel is not merely a personal narrative but also a mirror of the collective consciousness of the urban youth generation living in trauma, value disconnection, and identity dislocation within contemporary societal structures.
