ROMANTISME PUISI SYAHADAT CINTA KARYA MAISYAROH ELSHOBI

Abstract

This study aimed at describing the forms of romanticism in ‘Syahadat Cinta’ poetry by Maisyaroh El Shobi. Source of data in this study was the Madura newspaper, edition September 2016. This study used a descriptive method of analysis and a qualitative one. Steps of collecting data in this study were (i) reading the poems, (ii) identifying the structure and value of romanticism, (iii) interpreting the results of data analysis, (iv) describing the structure and value of the romance of poetry based on the interpretations made, and (v) developing analytical results. The result showed that ‘Syahadat Cinta’ was a romance poetry. The poem tells of desperetment of the author for finding love. Romanticism in poetry was illustrated by the meeting of the author and her lover that led to marriage.
