ASPEK MORALITAS DALAM NOVEL DELUSI KARYA SUPAAT I. LATIEF

Abstract

Literary works born in the midst of the community as a result of the author’s imagination and reflection on surrounded social phenomena. One of these literary works is Delusi novel, a novel which describes Madun’s disrespect of offering and the hard worki of citizens to learn good religious values. This study aimed to describe the aspects of morality and its function in Delusi novel. The method used in this study was descriptive qualitative. Data were collected through literary technique and then analyzed used Miles and Hubberman technique. The result of analysis showed that, there were two aspects of morality in Delusi Novel, i.e.heteronomous morality (objective) and autonomous morality (subjective) in which there were values of obedience, honesty, and trust of the characters to parents, indigenous elder/village chief, teachers, even to friends and society. These two aspects were the characters way of life in which functions as the economic and religious education.
