NILAI RELIGIUS TOKOH DALAM NOVEL KHALIFAH CINTA KARYA A. MUBARAK

Abstract

Literature is a creation of human’s creativity, aesthetic and imagination by using the medium of language. This study purposed to describe the religious value of novel “Khalifah Cinta” by A. Mubarak. This study used qualitative descriptive method, designed by literary study. The data collected through note taking and analized by using content analysis ased on sosiological theory. The result of study showed there were religious values of the character. Specifically, the religious values divided into behavior and thought. Behavior included the dimension of worship, experience and practice. While the religious value included belief and knowledge. The dimension of worship marked by prayer in five times. The experience was marked by thankful. The practice was marked by honesty. A belief was marked by believing that God always be there. While the religious knowledge marked by knowing the contents of Al Quran.
