Javanese children’s stories contain character education values that can be used as a fun means of educating children. This research is descriptive qualitative research that aims to describe the value of character education in a collection of children’s stories, Si Jlitheng by Impian Nopitasari, using content analysis techniques. The study’s findings indicate that Si Jlitheng’s collection of children’s stories contains 19 character education values, including being religious, respect, responsibility, fairness, kindness, speaking wisely, being good listeners, being helpful, being tolerant, being a good leader, being united, friendly, caring, peace-loving, independent, trustworthy and never giving up.
