Register Pada Akun Menfess Penggemar Korea di Twitter (Studi Kajian Sosiolinguistik)

Abstract

This study aims to describe the form and function of the register on the Korean Fan Menfess Account on Twitter from April to May 2022. This study is qualitative descriptive study using a sociolinguistic study. The data source in this study is the posting of Korean fan menfess accounts on twitter, @indomyfess and @kdrama_menfess from April to May 2022. The data collection method used is documentation, listen, and note method. As for the data analysis method used is the matching method with exposure of the data results using informal method. In this study, 64 data were found in the form of registers which were divided into shortening, acronyms, abbreviations, and lingual forms which were divided into nouns, verb, and adjectives. As for the language functions found, there are instrumental, regulatory, imaginary, informative, heuristic, and interactional functions.
