NILAI PENDIDIKAN KARAKTER SEORANG GURU DALAM TRILOGI NOVEL SYAIKH SITI JENAR KARYA AGUS SUNYOTO

Abstract

Talking about literature and its value are talking about the human’s body and soul in nature. Literary works are full of moral values. One of them is character education value. The trilogy novel Syaikh Siti Jenar written by Agus Sunyoto contains a
number of character values which are interesting to be discussed. At present, the character education values become very important. Being a professional teacher needs a set of good characters. The ideal teacher caharacters found in trilogy novel Syaikh Siti Jenar written by Agus Sunyoto were: (a) writing character, (b) story teller caharacter, (c) wise and educated, (d) unselfish, (e) natural caharacter, (f) earthly character (g) affectionate, (h) change agent, (i) thinkful, (j) meaningful, (k) well
informed (l) conquer (m) perfectionism, and (n) leadership.
