Nilai Sosial dalam Novel 24 Jam Bersama Gaspar Karya Sabda Armandio

Abstract

The novel 24 Jam Bersama Gaspar is a novel that contains social values which are reflected through its characters. Social values are norms and rules that are important to serve as a guide to life in society. This study aims to describe social values in the novel 24 Jam Bersama Gaspar. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a literature review design. The results showed that the social value of the character is reflected in the following forms, namely: 1) friendship, covers togetherness and not individualism, 2) empathy, in the form of being able to understand the conditions or circumstances of other people who are afflicted by disaster, be able to feel what if they are in a difficult condition like other people, and 3) responsibility, such as awareness, courage, and love.
