Nilai Pendidikan Karakter Tradisi Sompretan Lelayu di Kampung Pusponjolo Semarang

Abstract

Tradition is a form of behavior patterns and unwritten rules that exist in a society. One of the traditions that is still carried out today is the sompretan lelayu tradition in Pusponjolo Resident, Semarang City. This research is focused on analyzing the values of character education that exist in the sompretan lelayu tradition. This research was conducted in Pusponjolo resident, Bojongsalaman Subdistrict, Semarang Barat District, Semarang City. Data collection techniques were carried out through field observation techniques, literature studies and documentation. The results of data collection then analyzed descriptively. The results of this study showed that there were six values of character education in the sompretan lelayu tradition. The six values of character education were religious, tolerance, creative, communicative, social care, responsibility.
