Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the educators’ efforts in fostering self-actualization during COVID 19 pandemic. Researcher used qualitative research approach with case study method to gain an understanding of educators’ efforts in fostering self-actualization abilities. Data collection techniques used interview and documentation. The collected data were then analyzed using steps, namely data reduction, data presentation, drawing conclusions and verification. The results showed that the educators’ efforts in fostering self-actualization were giving children opportunity to be happy always and not selfish even though there was epidemic, giving children opportunity to do something and the risks, stop dictating children often, motivating children to eliminate doubts on themselves, giving opportunity to children to develop their abilities properly, encouraging children to learn the best and worst, the children’s interest to recognize themselves as the lessons from pandemic helps them to keep their health always.
