Abstract

This study aims to develop the Animal Tower game in order to improve early childhood cognitive development. In addition, this study also aims to determine the validity and effectiveness of the Animal Tower game to develop early childhood cognitive abilities. The researchers used development method which consisting of qualitative and quantitative methods. Data collection techniques used were observation, documentation, and interviews. Data analysis was carried out by using one sample test with a test value of 15. The result of analysis showed that the t value was 3.719, the df value was 8, it was known that the sig (2 tailed) was 0.006, the mean difference was 7.6667, and at 95% confidence interval of the difference is the lower value of 2,913 and the upper value of 12,421. From these results, they indicated that the test results are greater than 0.05, so it can be concluded that H0 is accepted. Based on the research, the results show that the Animal Tower game is valid and effective for developing and stimulating early childhood cognitive development.
