Representasi Nilai Kearifan Lokal dalam Babad Ponorogo

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the value of local wisdom contained in the Babad Ponorogo (Chronicle of Ponorogo). The research design is descriptive qualitative, the data source is in the form of literature, namely the Babad Ponorogo. To get the data, the researcher uses note-taking technique, while to analyze the data using content analysis technique. The results of this study include: (1) Local wisdom values related to education. This value includes the existence of a teacher and a student in placing himself as a true teacher and a good student. (2) Local wisdom values related to ethics. This value includes visiting ethics, receiving guests ethics, and social ethics. (3) The value of local wisdom related to struggle. In the struggle required hard work, honesty, sincerity, and submission. (4) The value of local wisdom related to tradition. This value includes respect for ancestors, concern for traditions of dress and art, and preserving the tradition of salvation.
