Analisis Fungsi Sastra Lisan Penamaan Desa Sondokoro Kecamatan Tasikmadu Kabupaten Karanganyar

Abstract

Sondokoro is a village in the Tasikmadu sub-district, Karanganyar, Central Java. This study uses a qualitative descriptive approach with reference to the functionalism theory of David and Manners. Functional theory is a theory related to the uses or benefits that can be drawn from the story. The data collection technique was in the form of field observations, namely in the Sondokoro tourist spot, Tasikmadu by making direct observations of the research subjects assisted by a recording device. The interview was conducted through dialogue with an informant named Samiyono as a manager at the Sondokoro tourist spot. By giving several questions where the respondent is free to express his views, answers, and thoughts. This research was conducted so that researchers can find out (1) what is the history of the naming of Sondokoro village, Tasikmadu sub-district, Karanganyar district, and (2) what are the functions contained in the oral literature naming the village of Sondokoro, Tasikmadu sub-district, Karanganyar district. The aims of this research are (1) to describe the history of the naming of Sondokoro village, Tasikmadu sub district, Karanganyar district, and (2) the various functions contained in the oral literature of the naming of Sondokoro village, Tasikmadu sub-district, Karanganyar district. The results of the research show that there are three functions containing eight data in the analysis of oral literature naming the village of Sondokoro, Karanganyar. These functions consist of five social functions, one cultural function, and three religious functions. of the three functions, the most dominating is the social function.
