Kajian Tindak Tutur Ilokusi pada Interaksi Jual Beli di Pasar Tradisional Pulung

This study aims to describe the illocutionary speech acts used between sellers and buyers at the Pulung Traditional Market, Ponorogo Regency. This study used descriptive qualitative method. The data collection technique in this study used the free listening technique, the recording technique, and note taking technique. Based on the research that has been done, the results show that the speech acts used in buying and selling interactions in the Pulung traditional market include assertive speech acts (mentioning, showing, informing and stating); directive speech acts (inviting, asking, demanding, suggesting, and challenging); expressive speech acts (thank you, blame and flatter); commissive speech acts (oath and promise) and declarative speech acts (decide, cancel, prohibit, and grant). The most dominant speech act in buying and selling interactions in the Pulung traditional market is the directive speech act.
