Abstract

The rapid development of digital technology in Generation Alpha has led to easier access to information while also increasing the risk of exposure to inappropriate content, including understanding early childhood sexuality. The lack of parental literacy and the belief that sex education is a taboo topic make children vulnerable to sexual violence. This community service activity aims to optimize the role of Posyandu as a family-based sex education media in efforts to prevent sexual violence against children. The method used is the Participatory Action Program thru interactive socialization with parents at Posyandu Pucangan, Kartasura, with stages of pretest, material presentation, discussion, and posttest. The results of the activity showed a significant increase in parents' understanding and awareness of the concept of body safety, touch boundaries, and the importance of open communication with children. In addition, there has been a shift in perception from viewing it as taboo to recognizing it as an essential educational need in child protection. Thus, optimizing Posyandu as a center for sex education can become an effective preventive strategy in reducing the risk of sexual violence against children from an early age.
