Abstract

Etiquette is a requirement for humans to live in society. Etiquette must be possessed so that humans can be worthy in socializing. Etiquette is taught in various ways, both directly and indirectly. One of the media for teaching etiquette is through literary works. Children's literature is considered effective because it can teach etiquette from an early age. This qualitative study aims to describe etiquette in 'Dongeng-Dongeng Asia kanggo Bocah-Bocah 1: Manuk Gagak lan Manuk Greja' by analyzing the content of the story. The research data include sentences that indicate the existence of etiquette in the story. The results of the study show that there are six types of etiquette in Dongeng-Dongeng Asia kanggo Bocah-Bocah 1: Manuk Gagak lan Manuk Greja, including asking permission, being loyal to the king, using Javanese krama language, obey the king, greeting, and sharing food.
