Moralitas Sosial dalam Novel Gadis Kecilku Karya Syaihul Hady

Abstract

Moral value in literary works reflects the author’s view of life, including his views on the values of truth including moral values. This study aims to determine the values of social morality found in the novel Gadis Kecilku by Syaihul Hady. The method used in this research is the method of analysis and descriptive method. The object used in this study is a novel entitled Gadis Kecilku by Syaihul Hady. The research technique used is document analysis technique. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that in Syaihul Hady’s novel Gadis Kecilku by Syaihul there are values of social morality that are embodied in (1) social morality, (2) social morality of the family, and (3) social morality of the character’s profession. The social morality found can be taken advantage of by readers to be applied in everyday life.
