Gaya Bahasa dalam Lirik Lagu Album Geisha Lumpuhkan Ingatanku

Abstract

Song lyrics often have a series of poetic words in which there is a peculiarity in the use of language and also the imagery aspect inside. This fact is the background for researcher to conduct research with the aim of describing the language style in the lyrics of the album song Geisha Lumpuhkan Ingatanku. This study uses a qualitative descriptive method based on a study approach using stylistic theory. The research object in this study are the fragments or the song lyric excerpts in the album Geisha Lumpuhkan Ingatanku. From the results of data analysis, it can be concluded that the figurative language contained in the lyrics of the poetic song Geisha Lumpuhkan Ingatanku includes: (a) personification, (b) repetition, (c) hyperbole, (d) anapora, (e) allegory, (f) polysynchrony, and (g) metaphor.
