REPRESENTASI TUNTUNAN HIDUP DALAM UNGKAPAN TRADISIONAL JAWA

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the demands of life contained in traditional Javanese expressions. This study uses a qualitative descriptive research design. The source of research data is traditional Javanese expressions. In collecting data, the researcher uses note-taking technique with the main research instrument being the researcher herself. In collecting data, researchers carefully and intensely, repeatedly read data sources to find data that is relevant to research objectives. In finding research objectives, researchers analyzed the content analysis technique in a hermeneutic manner. The results of the research are life guidance which includes: (1) guidance from God, (2) guidance for family, (3) guidance for society, (4) guidance for studying, and (5) guidance for seeking sustenance.
