AKHLAK TOKOH UTAMA DALAM NOVEL KHADIJAH KARYA SIBEL ERASLAN

Abstract

This study aims to describe the moral values of the main character towards God Almighty, society, and the environment in the novel Khadijah by Sibel Eraslan. The study used sociology of literature as the approach based on the theories of Wellek and Austin. Researchers used a qualitative descriptive method and designed as library research. The collecting data technique consisted of reading, data marking, (3) identifying, (4) analyzing, and drawing the conclusions. The results of this study were the main character moral values towards God Almighty in the form of praying to God, the moral character of the main character towards the community in the form of social care which was characterized by mutual help towards others, and the main character’s moral values towards the environment in the form of loving nature.
