Analisis Wacana Buku Kumpulan Khotbah Jum’at Karya KH. Abu Yusuf Fahruddin (Teori Van Dijk)

Abstract

The objective of this study is to describe the form of the text structure (macro, superstructure, micro) that builds the discourse of the Friday sermon texts. This research is a qualitative research which used critical discourse analysis approach by Van Dijk. The data source in this study is the Friday sermon text in the book Kumpulan Khotbah Jum>at Sepanjang Masa. The data in this study are written data in the form of words, sentences, paragraphs, and Friday sermons text discourse. Data collection in this study was carried out using library techniques and note-taking techniques. The data analysis method used the listing method. Based on the data analysis, it can be concluded that the structure of the Friday sermon text written by KH. Abu Yusuf Fahrudin exposed that the text in the Friday sermon described semantics, syntax, stylistics, and rhetoric. Semantics or meaning is well constructed by providing background, detail, purpose in the whole text. From a syntactic perspective, the Friday sermon text has sentence forms, coherences, and pronouns that are adapted to the author’s. The choice of words or lexicons used lots of words with persuasive connotations. In addition, the author uses graphic elements to emphasize or provide visual affirmation.
