Tindak Tutur Deklaratif dalam Buku Kumpulan Khotbah Jum’at An-Nahdliyyah

Abstract

The purpose of this research is to describe the functions, forms, and types of declarative speech acts in the book Kumpulan Khotbah Jum’at An-Nahdliyyah (Collection of Friday Sermons An-Nahdliyyah). The method used in this research is descriptive qualitative. Researchers collect data with the following steps: reading, marking, recording, and categorizing data. The data analysis technique used is descriptive analysis with the stages of data reduction, displaying data, and drawing conclusion. The data in this study are in the form of expressions, sentences, which represent declarative speech acts. Based on the results of the analysis, the researcher found that the functions of declarative speech acts are (1) competitive functions, (2) convivial functions, (3) collaborative functions, and (4) conflictive functions. The researcher found 16 forms of declarative speech acts spread across 4 sermon themes, namely: 1) Isra> Mi>raj Prophet Muhammad SAW., 2) intercession of Prophet Muhammad SAW., 3) humans and challenges of life, and 4) holiness changes to happiness. While the types of declarative speech acts include (1) locutions, (2) illocutions, and (3) perlocutions.
