Tindak Tutur Ilokusi Ekspresif Pada Podcast Deddy Corbuzier

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to describe the forms and functions of expressive illocutionary speech acts between the host and guests in Deddy Corbuzier>s Podcast on February 2, 2022. Illocutionary speech acts are speech acts that have hidden meaning or other meaning intended by the speaker towards the partner. This research was conducted using a qualitative descriptive method. The data collection techniques were note-taking and data transcription techniques. The data analysis technique used in this study was the Miles and Hubberman which consists of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. Based on the analysis, the form of expressive illocutionary speech act were thanking, apologizing, congratulating, praising, criticizing and angry. Moreover, the function of expressive illocutionary speech acts consisted of thanking, apologizing, congratulating,
praising, criticizing, and angry functions.
