PRINSIP KERJASAMA DALAM FILM MY STUPID BOSS KARYA UPI AVIANTO

Abstract

Cooperative principle is needed by the speakers in order to have cooperative communication with the speaking partners. My Stupid Boss movie by Upi Avianto shows how cooperative principle is used among the characters. The purpose of this research was to describe the use of cooperative principle such as maxim of quantity, maxim of quality, maxim of relevance, and maxim of manner with pragmatic study with Grice’s cooperative principle theory. The method of this research was descriptive qualitative. The techniques of data collection were (i) identification data, (ii) reduction data, (iii) classification data according to problem identification and (iv) analysis both data deductive and inductive. The technique of collecting data were observation and writing techniques. The source of this research was My Stupid Boss movie. The result showed the arrangement of maxim quantity, maxim of quality, maxim of relevance and maxim of manner.
