KAJIAN STRUKTURAL NOVEL DAN BIDADARI SURGA PUN CEMBURU KARYA KH. ADRIAN MAFATIHULLAH KARIEM

Abstract

Literature was an imitation of real life, which was rewritten by the author through remodifying the contents of the story and led to a new world. A literary work is created by the imaginative process of an author that can be enjoyed and understood by the readers. The purpose of this study is to describe the relationship between the building elements in novel Dan Bidadari Surga pun Cemburu of KH. Adrian Mafatihullah Kariem. The researchers used the structuralism approach to analyze the findings. The method used is qualitative descriptive method. The data in this study includes quotations of words and sentences. The study and analysis will be directed to the structural study contained in the novel. Data collection technique used is library technique. The data that have been collected then analyzed by following these steps; analyzing, classifying, and concluding results. The result of this research covers the intrinsic elements in the novel. The intrinsic elements are the plot, character and characterization, background, outlook and style of language. Based on the findings, the plot used is mixed. Characters found in novels are main character and minor characters. The background of the story includes place, time and social setting. The two intersectional relationships in the novel are all intrinsic elements build the full content of the story.
