Analisis Wacana Kritis Roger Flowler dalam Berita Online Forum Semua Tentang Ponorogo

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the use of vocabulary and grammar in the online news Forum Semua Tentang Ponorogo. Active vocabularies are vocabularies which are frequently used in communication (spoken) and written. Passive sentence vocabularies are words which rarely used in communication. Grammar refers to the use of active and passive sentences when writing news. The method was descriptive qualitative, while the data collection techniques were observation, reading, and note-taking. The data analysis technique was reading the news discourse, classifying data, and analyzing data. Based on the research, it was found that the use of vocabulary and grammar in online news discourse in Forum Semua Tentang Ponorogo were shown in 5 data on the use of vocabulary to make classifications. They were shown in the news title, the first paragraph, second paragraph, and last paragraph of the news. The use of passive vocabulary were in 3 data; in the first paragraph, second paragraph, and third paragraph of news. The use of active sentences were found in the last paragraph of the
news.
