RELIGIUSITAS DALAM KUMPULAN CERPEN SYEKH BEJIRUM DAN RAJAH ANJING

Abstract

This article aims to describe (i) the characters’ religious acts, (ii) religious meaning dimension within Syekh Bejirum dan Rajah Anjing short story collection by Fahrudin Nasrullah. Religiosity is internalization of religion values within oneself. This internalization relates to the religious beliefs within heart and words. The research method was qualitative descriptive. The data were collected through note-taking technique, and analyzed through textual analysis. The research showed that there were religious acts and meaning dimensions of the characters within Syekh Bejirum dan Rajah Anjing short story collection. The religious acts and meaning dimension of the characters were (i) religious acts in forms of resignation, patience, and respect, (ii) religious meaning dimension were depicted within belief, religious practices, experience, knowledge, and consequences.
